Beautified Apple Butter

The way to beautiful glowing skin, shiny hair, and strong healthy nails is found in my upgraded “Bakerlita’s Beautified Apple Butter”.

I love to experiment and create in the kitchen, especially with ingredients that have the ability to bless your outer & inner beauty ;) This Bakerlita Beautified Apple Butter is sweet, thick, creamy, and absolutely delicious! There is no added sugar, only added beauty packed ingredients.

What is my secret in the Bakerlita Beautified Butter? Gelatin; the one I used is pasture-raised bovine gelatin. Not just any typical gelatin you find at the store. If you want the benefits of beautiful skin, hair, nails, joints, muscle, bones & even better digestion I recommend adding grass-fed, pasture-raised gelatin into you anything and everything ;) 

One last thing I just love about gelatin and collagen proteins is that they are don’t get damaged and destroyed by heat when baking. Most protein powders when heated they are damaged to deadly toxins, so there is another reason to add an extra hit of gelatin and collagen to your baked goods!

My sweet, buttery Bakerlita Beautified Apple Butter becomes extra creamy, firm & thick thanks to the gelatin. The things you can make with gelatin is endless and the benefits are endless too! We all know Autumn is apple season which makes it the perfect time to get local, in-season fresh-picked crisp apples. You can really use any type of apple you desire, just see what is available at the local farmers market, that will be your best choice. Granny Smith is always a go-to for me, I just love the tartness! 

Another MAJOR beauty worthy ingredient is apple cider vinegar. Apple cider vinegar is a wonderful weapon for use to help aid digestion, detox & lowers blood sugar. Personally, I would recommend that apple cider is the only vinegar you should use in your diet.


  • 3 local Golden Delicious apples
  • 3 local Granny Smith apples
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 tablespoon cinnamon 
  • 1/2 tablespoon Sea Salt
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons collagen ---grass-fed
  • 1 tablespoon gelatin ---grass-fed 
  1. Peel & Chop 2 Golden Delicious, and 3 Granny Smith Apples into small pieces; place in a medium pot
  2. In the same pot with chopped apples & measure out the rest of the Apple BEAUTY Butter ingredients.
  3. Place on medium heat with a lid for about 5min; until apples start to boil & soften.
  4. Use a fork and mash down apples.
  5. Reduce heat to low & tilt the lid to let the steam and moisture out.
  6. Stir occasionally while cooking for 2 hours I low temp!
  7. Once apples become beautified deep burgundy in colour it’s time to purée!
  8. Use an immersion blender or high-speed blender to purée!
  9. Once the Bakerlita's Beautified Apple Butter is cooled, transfer into a small glass jar and store it in the fridge for up to two weeks. (You can also freeze any extra for a longer shelf life!) 
  10. Serve the apple butter on top of some toasted bread or it is a great ingredient to add in some healthy baking recipes!
