I eat a Keto diet to manage type 2 diabetes without medication. This bread is so fundamental to the success of my diet. Sometimes I just want a turkey and mayo sandwich or eggs on toast which is my comfort food. Before Andrea’s bread I missed those treats now I enjoy them and yet am still way under my <20 carbs per day. The bread is delicious and I now can have so much more selection in my foods. I thought grilled cheese sandwiches, montecristo sandwiches, hot dogs (rolled up in a slice of Andrea’s bread) and hamburgers were all a thing of the past but I enjoy them every week while my blood sugars have plummeted to non diabetic levels. If you know any diabetics do them a favour and let them know about Bakerlita, they will thank you!

I adopted a grain free way of eating roughly 10 years ago and have tried many paleo breads (either from recipes or from purchased mix packets). This bread is by far the best, and the fact it’s lower carb is a bonus. It also doesn’t upset my stomach unlike a lot of paleo/keto breads and it freezes very well. I usually slice it up and enjoy half soon after and freeze the rest. I recently purchased some more for a pre-diabetic relative to try and we all agreed it tasted very similar to my Oma’s wheat bread from years ago. I’m hoping to bake a loaf soon and try it with some thick slices of Gouda cheese! My order arrived very quickly and Andrea was in contact via email to ensure it was delivered as expected and to provide additional baking tips. So nice to have this as an option!

Andrea's bread is wonderful! I don't have any meal restrictions and I still enjoy this and look forward to making it! It smells heavenly when you bake it - It fills your home with an amazing home baked bread aroma. My favourite way to have it is to toast it and put whatever toppings I wish on it - anything from butter, jam, mayo, deli meats, veggies. It works super well with anything!
