Are you as excited as I am? Well, you should be, because I am sharing with you, how you can Break-Bread again that BLESSES your body, brain, and beauty… Yes, that’s Right!!!
Traditional bread does the exact opposite, leaving you BLOATED FAT with wicked brain-fog, NO THANK YOU!
If you have been following me for a while, you have most likely seen my LOVE for bread. In this blog post, I am going to me teaching with you WHY you should avoid bread at all costs, but I am also going to give you a NEW solution to truly ENJOY bread again, without the grains, gluten, and guilt, which will GOOD for your GUT!
I am a HUGE believer in gathering together, Breaking Bread while enjoying with one another. To me, a gathering isn’t quite the same without some of that soft bread, don’t you agree?
My stomach on the other hand is NOTa fan of BREAD because of the grains & gluten it consists of. And I am guessing yours isn’t either? Bread not only makes up of those nasty inflammatory sticky proteins that cause leaky gut, autoimmune disease, yet it also has great damaging effects on your intestine walls. I have struggled my whole life with horrible stomach issues, all I have to say it is not worth the stomach pain I experience to indulge in a piece of bread.
You’re probably thinking to yourself “Are ALL grains that Bad for you?” And, the answer is YES, yet there are some considerations.
Firstly, & most importantly my great mission is to educate you on the most optimal way to bake to fuel your body so that you can experience the most optimal healthy life!
Sadly, bread & grains are not going to help you achieve this for you. Grains cause inflammation to the body, making it hard, to almost impossible to burn fat, it also causes mental brain-fog, like I mentioned above, intestinal damage, sugar cravings, energy crashes, hormonal mood swings & insulin spikes which causes DIABETES; Truly, most diseases are caused by inflammation… So, listen UP!
The Bake-The-Bakerlita-Way, I am promoting, is a high-quality fat, moderate protein, low carb lifestyle. Baking the Bakerlita way also means it is baking with alternative natural flours that are packed with fiber & wholesome nutrients.
My most favorite flours to bake a beautiful fresh loaf of grain-free, gluten-free & lectin-free.
Grains are extremely high in starches & sugars causing insulin spiking. But what is even worse than that, it has two horrible gut damaging sticky glutens & lectins that cause massive problems in your overall health!
Most people have an intolerant to most grains because of the high lectins in them. This means we have no room for grains when you break bread at my table… I want you to experience one week, 7 full days with no grains & bread in your diet, you will be amazed by what you will feel like!!!
Imagine having abounding energy all day, NOT feeling tired all day long, reaching for that 4th cup of coffee to get you through the day. Beautiful, wouldn’t it be?
Okay, you’re probably thinking to yourself, I have heard of Gluten, and you probably have seen“GLUTEN-FREE” everywhere you look now; Gluten-Free this and that… The sad part is even when it says Gluten-Free, 90%of the time it is loaded with deadly fat-storing sugar and other “GLUTEN FREE” substitutes that are loaded with LECTINS! I will be covering every topic on gluten, grain, and lectins, so don’t get confused, it is coming up.
And remember, I am here to not just give you all my knowledge, WHAT TO EAT, and what NOT TO EAT. I am here to make you implement the knowledge to know WHY GRAINS, GLUTEN & LECTINS ARE SO BAD FOR YOU, it will be very hard for you to eat them without fearing the unwanted side effects it causes in the body!
Most of you know bread is made of the grain, which is wheat, and wheat has gluten. What is Gluten? Gluten is a protein found in wheat and other grains. Most people are gluten sensitive, meaning when they eat bread, cereals, pasta, pastries they will experience inflammation & intestinal damage, causes allergies, asthma, arthritis & IBS. Even if YOU personally don’t think you are sensitive, research shows what this protein in gluten does damage to our bodies!
And that comes to my next topic. What exactly is a Lectin? Lectins are found in most grains, legumes, plants, and veggies with seeds. When we consume high amounts of lectins we will reap the side effects like
It’s very interesting, I see all the rapid sicknesses & diseases everyone has this day and age, but doctors don’t know the root cause? There is Good News for you, it is as SIMPLE as what you put in your MOUTH.
Grains have defense mechanisms so that predators won’t eat them… They are called phytic acid & Lectins, found in grains, same with beans. These nasty defenses keep you from absorbing your must-have nutrients like iron, and calcium which most of us are already low in. Lectins cause gut inflammation-causing discomfort, leaky gut, hormonal imbalances, weight gain, hormonal issues, and lack of nutrient absorption!
Mould has a greater impact on your health then you could ever imagine. Mold is extremely TOXIC to the body & it almost grows on all foods, ESPECIALLY GRAINS. Our grain crops are very contaminated with mold and pesticides because our regulations are sadly so poor. We all eat small traces of mold each day. Grains, on the other hand, have a large portion of this toxic mold robbing your health, life, energy, and your true potential! Mold causes us to feel sick, have low energy, brain fog, weight gain, and much more. This is another reason why avoiding grains and bread will greatly benefit your life.
As stated above, grains are HIGH in carbs, it doesn’t matter if they are low glycemic, high glycemic, whole grain, refined, it is still a grain that gives you no GAIN in life ;) When you eat too many carbs they eventually turn into glucose (sugar) in the liver, storing it most likely as unwanted FAT! Eating too many carbs leads to insulin resistance, which then leads to being hungry all the time and never feeling satisfied. This will get anyone into a very bad cycle. Nothing seems to satisfy your hunger and you keep eating, gaining more weight, and before you know it this causes type 1 & 2 Diabetes and other health issues!
When you’re hungry and you eat grains it sends a signal to your brain to “KEEP EATING” until you overeat and are ready for a nap… Think about all the things you could be doing if you ate something the FUELLED your body with low inflammation alternatives. Imagine gaining more time and energy to be creative, read your favorite books, grow your dream business, deepen your spiritual journey, or just have more unforgettable memories with family & friends!
